Highlights of this edition include an appendix by Wells on Kriegspiel - the wargame developed by the Imperial German general staff - and a Foreword by Dungeons & Dragons creator Gary Gygax, whose own wargame development was influenced by his experience with Little Wars. Other features include 19 B&W photographs and more than 100 line drawings from the original edition of the book.
