If The Lord Spares Us
WWI Middle Eastern Rules by Too Fat Lardies

It's a long way to Tipperary but whether you're fighting your way up Anzac Cove, sipping Pimms as part of Townshend's Regatta up the Tigris, marching through Jerusalem with Allenby, or bouncing on a flea-ridden camel on the route to Damascus with Lawrence of Arabia these rules will enable you to pack up your troubles and take the fight to Johnny Turk.

Away from the quagmire of the Western Front ITLSU proves that brigade level games the Great War in the Middle East have components of everything; camels, arab war bands, sweeping cavalry attacks, opposed beach landings, massed machine guns, gas attacks, tanks, armoued cars, fighting in the mirage, water shortages, trench assaults, river gunboats - and enough command and control dilemmas to test the most cunning Pasha. The opportunities it provides are boundless. ITLSU makes every wargame a Great War game!

The Von Reisswitz Kriegsspeile
The Original Miniature Wargames Rules; Reprinted by Too Fat Lardies

"This is not a game; this is training for war. I must recommend it to the whole Army!"

Baron von Muffling, Chief of the Prussian General Staff

Published in 1824, and written by a Prussian Army officer who had served in the Napoleonic Wars, Kriegsspiel is the genesis of modern wargaming. This was the set of wargames rules used by von Moltke, that inspired von Schlieffen, that led to the birth of wargaming as both a military tool and a hobby.

Now, in association with Bill Leeson, TooFatLardies bring you the original 1824 rule set so that today's gamers can experience the ultimate wargaming system for themselves. With the rules presented in perfect bound format, with the rules in full colour and additional material provided on period tactics, and the 1828 Berlin Wargames Society Amendments. This rule set is absolutely packed with material for the gamer and historian alike and has a multitude of applications across many periods of history. 76 A4 pages in total.

Le Feu Sacre
Napoleonic Corps Level Rules by Too Fat Lardies

At last, a set of Napoleonic rules that feel right, are playable, and don't cost a fortune! After years of trying to enjoy other commercial rules, we gave up and wrote our own.

La Feu Sacre places command and control above musket calibre and march rates. They are aimed at gamers who wish to experience a large scale battle at the battalion level. Players command Corps and Divisions, and manoeuvre by brigade, regiment or battalion. Avoiding the usual omnipresent control that players are so often allowed over the minutiae of battle, La Feu Sacré concentrates on encouraging historically correct grand tactics. Also included are historical orders of battle for 8 example Corps d'Armee.

The rules use the familiar TooFatLardies card driven system. The Lardies' emphasis on battlefield "friction" allows the better, bolder generals to take the initiative, and recover from unexpected reverses, whilst less competent, cautious commanders need to stick to predictable battle plans, or risk coming unstuck. We present to you a set of rules where Austrian troops can be the equal of the French, but the Empire can still repeat history! Vive l'Empereur!

Groups of men may be combined into formations and the rules contain a guide to using small unit Napoleonic drill in your games.

Troops, Weapons & Tactics
WWII Platoon Level Combat Rulebook by Too Fat Lardies

Platoon level World War 2 miniature wargames rules.

Troops, Weapons & Tactics (TW&T) is not just a rule set. With 108 pages, 40 of which are in full colour, the gamer gets the rules, stats for Britain, Germany, the USSR and the USA for the 1944 and '45 period, a scenario and force generation system along with an introduction to the forces as they were historically organised and the tactics that they used.

TW&T, like its stablemate I Ain't Been Shot Mum (IABSM), uses a card driven system that produces a variable turn sequence. Unlike IABSM each squad leader is represented along with the platoon officer and Sergeant. These leaders use a system of Tactical Initiatives to motivate and activate their men on the battlefield.
