ARNHEM - THE THIRD BRIDGE is a detailed ASLComp VARIANT that tells the story of the Battle of Arnhem. This battle was the result of Montgomery’s bold plan to force the Rhine by coup de main using an airborne operation like none seen in the annals of military history. If successful the greatest natural barrier protecting Nazi Germany would be breached - shortening the war dramatically. If it failed, the ‘Red Devils’ of the British 1st Airborne Division would be at the far end of a tenuous supply line, in the midst of enemy territory. Allied planners had failed to take note of two elite Waffen SS divisions resting and refitting following the rucksmarsch, the headlong flight that followed the German collapse in Normandy. This intelligence failure would place John Frost and his men of the 2nd Parachute Battalion in a precarious position in the urban battlefield of Arnhem.

The new version includes a larger map, including larger hexes compared to the original edition. The scenarios have all errata input, and are fully remastered, including all new art for MMCs and SMCs! You also receive a BONUS ninth scenario, as well as a 16 page special rules + historical notes booklet + campaign game.

BARAQUE DE FRAITURE, BELGIUM, 20 December 1944: The German effort to encircle or bypass American forces in the Ardennes offensive required aggressive, even reckless pursuit of any breakthrough. Invariably, this strategy resulted in unexpected, but nonetheless vicious confrontations. One such conflagration involved file leading force of the German 560th Volksgrenadier Division and the recently deployed American 203rd AAA Battalion at a tiny Belgian crossroads called Baraque de Fraiture. A small company sized patrol of the 560th’s Kampfgruppe Schumann encountered heavy automatic weapons fire while traveling north along the N-15 highway at the small crossroads. The 80 men of this bicycle-mounted reconnaissance unit lost 12 men dead and 14 captured from the deadly M16 (nicknamed ‘Meat Choppers’) and M15A1 anti-aircraft half-tracks of the 203rd AAA Battalion. In this instance, German aggressiveness proved costly. Although this first battle of Baraque de Fraiture was to be an American victory, the German forces to follow were determined to take this vital position... 

Busting the Bocage 3rd Edition updates the venerable ASLComp classic fast-playing NORMANDY map-pack with a new take on the map, the nicest ever PLUS all the scenarios have been tweaked, renamed and freshened up to create a new play experience.

The pack features 6 scenarios - the most detailed ever on the subject - and a newly re-mastered map, originally created by artist and researcher Phil Nobo following his intense on-site cartography session. This set focuses on the battle after the landing - no difficult LC rules to learn or use.

GROSSDEUTSCHLAND AT STONNE 1940TM depicts the bitter battle for the crucial village of Stonne, and its dominating heights, during the battle of France, 1940. This is early war tank warfare with waves of B1 bis, H-39 and FCM 36 tanks sweeping into the village of Stonne with orders to force the issue and force the enemy back over the Meuse crossings.

This all new edition comes with a fully remastered map, including new terrain changes, freshly researched on site. It also includes 16 scenarios and three campaign games, and an 8 page CG + VARIANT RULES booklet. In a retro touch, you also receive the very same 32 free bonus die-cut counters previously provided!

And all of the original scenarios have been re-worked, making this an extensive new France 1940 product that is a must-have for the ASLComp hobbyist.

You also receive Italian SW for use in the scenarios enclosed in this module.

ADDITIONAL COUNTERS: In addition to Italian Eastern Front combatants, you receive new 5/8” counters for AFVs and aircraft, some never provided in the system before like the Soviet I-16 fighter-bomber. All counters use the popular ‘Berlin Style’ variant format.
